The Ducks class is held on TUES / THURS
9am - 12pm
The Ducks class is for children turning three by December 31. Socialization is the key for this age. Our activities are centered on social play experiences that encourage language development and other cognitive skills. Children must be completely potty trained. This program enrolls throughout the year to prepare the kids for preschool the following year.
The Frogs class is held on MON / WED / FRI
9am-12pm (optional full day 9am-3pm)
This program has a five-to-one student-teacher ratio. All three years olds must be completely potty trained. Building on socialization, the Frogs interact with their peers and our staff in a fun, supportive environment. We focus on small group experiences that encourage social play through learning to solve problems, share, and cooperate within a group.
The 5 Day Frogs class is held MON - FRI
9am-12pm (optional full day 9am-3pm)
NEW this year, we are offering a 5 day option for our 3-year-olds!
The Bears class is held MON – FRI
9am-12pm (optional full day 9am-3pm)
Our Pre-K program is based on a thematic curriculum. Teacher-directed activities are planned which integrate all the readiness skills needed for kindergarten success. The children have an opportunity to develop their Social, Creative and problem solving skills during a daily free play period. These children develop needed pre-kindergarten skills, initiative and independence.
The Bridge class is held MON – FRI
9am-3pm (optional half day 12pm-3pm)
Our Bridge to Kindergarten program provides an additional opportunity for students with summer or fall birthdays to gain the academic and social-emotional skills necessary to be successful in a full day Kindergarten program. Our comprehensive curriculum allow students to improve upon their knowledge from pre-K and focus on reading readiness, writing skills, early math, science and social studies.
Our Drop In Stay Day option offers time for free play, group games, stories, science, art and outdoor fun. Some examples of past enrichment programs include Science, Drama, Cooking, Dance, Soccer, Yoga and Foreign Language. Stay Day runs from 12pm-3pm Monday through Friday. Children can stay for 1, 2, or 3 hours as needed. A well-equipped playground and generous play area add to the fun at St. Christopher’s Day School.
